The animation was solid, but I've seen smoother. The idea is what really sells here. The concept and the execution were well done and the writing was interesting in and of itself. The music choices were surprising but fit each scene.
All in all, it was fun and interesting.

I'm a big fan of this series, it was quite the shocker when it more or less burst onto the scene for me (being a n00b to the whole NewGrounds thing myself), so when I beheld it, I was blown away. Such a potent message in a simple form. Through the highs and lows we've seen what a character can endure and their ultimate end.

This was an interesting and fun way to cap this series (if this really IS the end). I loved it, it was powerful and funny all in one go. That in and of itself is something rare.

I have to admit that at first I was very skeptical: "How could something sit on top of the portal for so long without some sort of hoax or trick to it" And after watching this I have to say that this is it. The reason this has ruled the portal for so long is clear and simple.

This is everything that is good and right with the world of flash animation or more importantly, animation in general. Artists who put this bit of mastery together are truly dedicated to their craft. Its a sight to behold and I hope that i will shine on as a becone to other that THIS is what quality looks like.
An amazing story with interesting characters. The music is haunting and catchy all at the same time. The various styles portrayed are phenomenal.

Its all amazing by itself and it all works together so very fluidly. Like a cog in a well oiled machine.

"The Sprite King has Returned!"

Another amazing action packed master piece.
It started off simple and slow, with some pretty amusing humor, and a nice dash of drama thrown in, but it really rocketed back to your tried and true form in the second half.

I can't help but love Basilisx, The ol' dark avenger fighting for his comrades memory always tugs at my heart strings. Can't wait to see what you do with him.
The Doomship itself was quite amazingly well done. It fits the tone of the series, as you said, in a throw back to the Star Fox vectorish style. I like it and can't wait to see what you end up doing with it.

The close up bits, both the pixlated Mario and Luigi from the first and the latter bits with the smooth line work were all really well placed and added a nice level of depth to your presentation.

This is how I wish everything related to Mario or Sonic could end up looking, simply because its always polished to perfection uppon every release.
Can't wait for the next one!
